The second group out on Saturday set the bar at 48 pts for the 4BBB and were never headed; Peter McIntyre and Jeremy Holden combined perfectly to take out the teams event by 2pts from Steve Jurd and Jeff Taylor.
Darran Gibson took out the weekly Competition on 41pts from Nathan Aitchison on 39 pts, with Jamie Hoswell rounding out the prize money on 37pts
Tuesday’s competition was a nail-biter, with 3 finishing equal on 38 pts. Graham Walker got the nod over Dave Williams and Wayne Barber with a superior back nine.
Jenny Chambers posted the best score of the week across all competitions to take out the Ladies competition on 42 pts; playing partner Dale Hamilton came second on 37 pts, and Glenda Williams rounded out the podium place getters.
The 2 Person Ambrose Championships kicks off Saturday. A full field is ready to take it on; what score will take it out?
